About Us

Follow your passion, trust us, you will get a wonderful and unique pieces.

          ''JA ZWIIN'' or "جا زوين" as we like to say in our Moroccan dialect means "It Looks Great", this word was the first thing we heard from our clients when they took a look at the pieces we made in our small workshop, it gave us an amazing feeling, a sense of pride and enthusiasm, this enthusiasm was our motivation to always provide the best and to share our work not only with Moroccan traditional crafts lovers and foreign tourists, but also with lovers of these pieces around the world.

          I studied interior design and specialized in Arab and Islamic architecture, but I was always attracted to Berber art, crafts and patterns, I always noticed that they did not receive the attention and appreciation they deserved, and that they might disappear one day like many civilizations and their cultures, hence the idea that we should preserve the art of the symbols and patterns of Berber culture by engraving them on durable materials such as wood, leather and copper.

          Here our journey began, where in 2013 I established a small workshop with the help of my friends "Sara" and "Ahmed" and the craftsmen "Lmaalem Rashid" and "Lmaalem Said". In this small workshop our first unique pieces were born, where we engraved symbols on the pieces we made, expressing our dreams and wishes, symbols that meant Strength, Courage, Freedom, Honor, Harmony, Intelligence, Wisdom, Beauty, Fertility, Softness, Hope, Safety, and Peace..

OUR MISSION

Protecting Moroccan culture, identity and craftsmanship.
Introducing Moroccan culture and art.
Putting a touch of Moroccan decor inside the home of every lover of authenticity, heritage and art.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

When we carve Symbols on solid Cedar wood we use ancient methods and tools, each Symbol represents a specific meaning (Freedom, Strength, Courage, Wisdom, Honor, Beauty, Fertility, Hope, Peace) and when we stack the Symbols together on a piece of wood, they turn into an Eternal Story.

A Men who Works with his Hands is a Laborer; A Man who Works with his Hands and his Brain is a Craftsman;

But a Man who Works with his Hands and Brain and his Heart is an Artist.
